What does this mean for you?
Current Learners undertaking Public Sector qualifications, you do not need to do anything. There is sufficient time for you to complete your studies and for issuing of the appropriate certification.
New Learners looking to enrol in Public Sector qualifications, CIT Solutions will be transitioning to the new training products over the next 12 months. Information contained in marketing and enrolment material will clearly advise if the training product is from the new or superseded Training Package. Where-ever possible the new training product will be offered, or transition arrangements set in place.
A detailed implementation schedule will be available shortly.
The TAE - Training and Education Training Package was released on 06 April 2016.
Please find following the latest information from the VET Regulator the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) regarding the requirements to upgrade:
For an RTO to market the revised Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116), it must first be registered to deliver this qualification. A rigorous reapplication process is required to be registered; CIT Solutions is currently preparing its application.
As at the date of this advice, 18 April 2016, there are no RTOs registered for this qualification, so no RTO is able to offer to provide the qualification.
