CIT Solutions is expanding our language tutor talent pool

CIT Solutions is a premium language training provider in the ACT. We deliver a wide range of foreign language training to our high-value clients based in Canberra as well as other major cities in Australia.

Our language training services include the design and development of curriculum and exams, delivery of face-to-face and/or virtual training, exam administration and marking, discussion groups and immersion courses.

Our learners may join us as an individual or as part of a group and their language training duration ranges from six to 88 weeks depending on the language and level required. Their sessions usually run for four hours and they may have training once a week or each weekday.

With an increase in demand for our language training services, we are seeking talented tutors to join our pool. We are especially interested in tutors in the following languages:

  • Bislama
  • Tetum
  • Thai
  • Tok Pisin
  • Solomon Islands Pijin

Training is delivered face-to-face in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Darwin or virtually.

Ideally applicants will have a university degree in education, linguistics, international relations, or other relevant fields, experience in language teaching and assessment of adult learners and be a native speaker or be able to speak, read, listen and write at a near native level. The duties may involve a wide range of tasks such as language teaching, exam testing, marking and development. The hourly rate will be commensurate with your experience and qualifications. Suitable applicants will be invited to participate in an interview process which will include referee and police checks plus completion of relevant security clearances. Successful applicants will undertake a comprehensive induction prior to undertaking suitable tutoring opportunities.
