About this course
Centre for Modern Languages, CIT Solutions will run a Korean summer camp in January 2024, for students who wish to prepare for commencement in senior secondary Korean studies at Continuing level.
The aim of this summer camp is for students:

who have completed some prior study (in or out of school), but who would like to do a bridging program in the holidays to find out with more certainty whether they are at a level to benefit from the course at that level and to improve their confidence and mastery in areas normally covered through the
Australian Curriculum in Years 9-10. - should have completed at least Years 7 and 8 Korean in any state except NSW (Year 9 and 10 there). Those who have completed Year 9 or 10 will be best placed to participate.
The summer camp will be open to any interested students, whether they intend ongoing studies in their day school or with CIT Solutions.
The Korean summer camp is designed as a bridging style course that covers:
- the core grammatical structures taught in Years 9 and 10 Korean, with a focus on revision/learning crucial grammar to enable students to transition to the Years 11 and 12 curriculum.
Course Details:
This is a virtual facilitated online program; it is not required that participating students are in Canberra at the time.
- It will take place in the 2nd to 4th weeks of January.

10 hours tuition (virtual) in total, 2 x 5 sessions
- 11th January 10am -12pm
- 16th January 10am-12pm
- 17th January 10am -12pm
- 18th January 10am -12pm
- 23rd January 10am -12pm
- Resource requirement: Each student is required to bring own mini whiteboard and whiteboard marker in each session
- Google classroom (virtual)
- Course fee: $250 (GST incl)
