About this course
If you are an IRAP (Infosec Registered Assessor Program) Assessor, you MUST conduct at least one (1) IRAP Assessment per year, from date of registration, to maintain your status as an IRAP Assessor.
About the IRAP Renewal Exam
According to the Australian Signals Directorate's IRAP Policy and Procedures https://www.cyber.gov.au/sites/default/files/2023-02/IRAP%20Policy%20and%20Procedures.pdf, to maintain your membership as an active IRAP assessor you need to:
‘Annually, demonstrate maintenance of ISM and IRAP assessment knowledge through completion of either: Submission of an IRAP assessment report – identifying assessments completed within the previous 12 months OR an IRAP examination’. Failure to undertake the annual requirements will change your IRAP membership to inactive and you will be unable to undertake IRAP Assessments.
If you are an existing IRAP Assessor but have not completed an IRAP Assessment within the last 12 months, you need to complete the IRAP Renewal Exam to re-certify as an IRAP Assessors.
If you are an existing IRAP Assessor, you are able to become re-certified without enrolling in the full five-day IRAP Training program by successfully completing an IRAP Renewal Exam.Materials Required:

Additional Information: Learners are required to obtain a pass mark of 80%.
Exam results are valid for three years from the date of assessment.
IRAP Assessors must conduct at least one (1) IRAP Assessment per year to maintain validity of their IRAP accreditation.
Exam time: 120 minutes.
Type of questions: multiple choice.
Exam topics: open-book exam covers ISM and IRAP Fundamentals.
