Horticulture - Introduction

About this course

This short course takes a comprehensive look at all aspects of gardening including plants and plant requirements, soil preparation, seasonal maintenance and basic garden planning and design - all in relation to our local climate. Aimed at the serious home gardener or anyone considering a career in horticulture.

Materials Required: Course notes provided. Please bring a pen and notepad.

Additional Information: This course runs selected Monday evenings 5.30pm - 8.00pm and Saturday mornings from 10am - 12.30pm. Please check sessions times in your selected course. Monday evening classes are held at CIT Bruce campus. The Saturday morning classes will be held at Fyshwick (address provided at enrolment)
