About this course
A positive self-concept and sense of self-esteem is a necessary component of a satisfying and healthy life. This course concentrates on self-confidence building, the awareness of rights, knowing how you feel, who you are and the ability to speak up. This course will teach practical skills that will nourish the growth of your self-confidence and self-esteem, which will enable you to become more assertive, more effective in interpersonal relationships and more in control of your life.
Materials Required: Course materials supplied. Please bring a notepad and pen.
We recommend you bring your own lunch/snacks, as canteen facilities are not available on the weekend. Tea and coffee making facilities as well as a fridge and microwave are available at the venue.
Additional Information: What the course covers will vary according to the needs of the participants on the day but will look at issues such as self-esteem and its sources; self-confidence; self-talk; feelings; assertiveness; rights; relationships and identity.
