About this course

This course will cover all you need to know about fishing in the local Canberra area from tackle selection, knots and rigs, baits and lures as well as the best fishing spots in the ACT. Include some practical time on the water during the course.

Materials Required: Please bring your own refreshments for the sessions.

Additional Information: Danny Spelic has been fishing the local area for more than 30 years. He is a member of the Professional Fishing Instructors and Guides Association and a Federation of Fly Fishers Certified Casting Instructor and has successfully represented Australia in both casting and Fly Fishing at the World and Commonwealth Championships. In his spare time, Danny also contributes to various national and international fishing publications including FlyLife Magazine, Freshwater Fishing Magazine and Sportski Ribolov (one of Europe's premier fishing journals).
