This is a beginner’s level course. CITSOL language proficiency courses for professional purposes are ideal for people who need to develop second language skills to use in both everyday and work-related contexts. The aim of the course is for students to:
The course covers four language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. However, emphasis may be given to certain skills to suit the needs of the learner. The course integrates sociolinguistic and sociocultural knowledge to enable the learner to communicate in the target language correctly and appropriately in a given context.

About Japanese Level 1A course
- Previous knowledge required:None. This course is suitable for absolute beginners with no previous knowledge of Japanese.
- Certification: Statement of Attendance is available upon request for learners who have attended at least 80% of the course.
