About this course
The ideal course for anyone planning a lengthy or remote 4WD trip, or just wanting to know how to look after their diesel 4WD. Over 4 weeks we look at diesel fuel systems, how they work and how you can do basic servicing of the fuel and air filters. You’ll gain an understanding of engine servicing as well as modifications and upgrading of suspension, driveline and braking systems. We will weigh everyone’s vehicle and talk about GVM upgrades. Electrical systems/duel batteries and trip preparation will also be covered. Please contact us if you’d like more information.
Materials Required: PLEASE NOTE: There will be an additional cost for materials which will be advised at the first session
Requirements: Participants will need to wear overalls or close fitting work clothes and leather shoes (no sneakers, thongs, or sandals), safety glasses and good thin engineering gloves
