About this course

For some the toppling of statues around the world proclaims a new "cancel culture", removing support for ideas and public figures now deemed shameful. Others regard the act as "political correctness gone mad". This course will track this movement across several countries, including our own, debating the pros and cons of revisiting public art, and considering the alternatives to destruction and removal.
