Compiled by an unknown Chinese scholar over 300 years ago, the Thirty-Six Stratagems is an essay illustrating the use of various stratagems in politics, war, and civil interaction. Relevant to avoiding and winning wars and to government and business decision-making generally, the stratagems will be considered in relation to our understanding of China today.

Materials Required: Course notes provided. Please bring pen and notepad.
