Sewing Workshop - Stretch Sewing

About this course

This workshop will extend your basic sewing skills, working with stretch fabrics to construct a simple garment using a commercial pattern. You'll learn how to explore the stretch stitches on your sewing machine or overlocker to obtain a professional finish. Good basic sewing skills required.

Materials Required: You will need to buy a simple commercial pattern suitable for stretch fabric (a list of suggested patterns will be sent to you), fabric (washed and ironed) and notions prior to the class. A limited selection of sample patterns will also be available on the first day. You should bring you own machine or overlocker.

Please bring your own lunch and/or refreshments on the day. We regret kitchen facilities are not available at this time due to CV19 restrictions.

Additional Information: You will need to supply your own sewing machine or overlocker for this course.
