About this course

In this course you'll learn the knitting skills and techniques needed to create a delicate lace scarf, and discover valuable tips to help you take your lace knitting further. This is an intermediate level course for those who have completed Knitting for Beginners, or have an equivalent skill level.

Materials Required: Please do not buy materials until you hear from CIT Solutions that the course is viable.
You will need to bring:
- 5 x 25g balls of Jamieson’s of Shetland Ultra (a 'grippy' 2 ply which is excellent for those new to lace knitting - 4 white for scarf and one colour for swatches and sample project) or an alternate lace weight yarn. Your tutor may be able to supply a limited amount of Jamieson's to you if you are unable to source a lace weight yarn.
- One set 4.00mm Knit Pro interchangeable needles plus needle cord and ends
- Tapestry needle
- Extra yarn for lifelines and provisional cast on where required
- Stitch markers
