About this course

Sashiko, at its heart, is a simple running stitch, using repeating patterns and traditional geometric and nature inspired patterns to create beautiful and useful decorative items. It is also used with patchwork, quilt-making and appliqué. This one day workshop will show you how to create a Sashiko piece for decoration and introduce Boro Sashiko, a traditional mending technique.
