About this course
This six-week course explores the riches of Buddhist philosophy, literature, art and architecture in social and historical contexts. Beginning with Siddhartha's life and times, it traces Buddhism's growth, continuities and changes. Now part of world heritage, Buddhism has enriched sites including Sanci, Borobudur, Angkor, Lhasa, and Kyoto.
