About this course
We gain a powerful impression of any work of art on our first fresh glimpse. But the longer we spend with it, the more it unveils itself, and we begin to realise what we can make of it. This course gives us the chance to spend 30 minutes examining and debating each of a dozen major and intriguing sculptures in the National Gallery of Australia.
Additional Information: Works to be discussed include those by Rosso, Bourdelle, Brancusi, Picasso, Cornell, Bourgeois, Ramingining artists, King, Kounellis, Yanagi and selected Indian/Pakistani and Chinese sculptors.
