About the role

CIT Solutions is looking for MULTIPLE FULL TIME or PART TIME Trainer and Assessors to deliver the following accredited programs depending on their subject matter expertise:

  • Government Generalist
  • Human Resources
  • Project Management
  • Procurement and Contracting

You will be working with supportive management, collaborative team members and a challenging stimulating environment.

As an integral part of a busy and passionate team, responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Designing, developing, delivery and assessment of any of the aforementioned mentioned courses
  • Providing subject matter expertise in any of the aforementioned courses
  • Creating engaging pathways and structures to enable constructive learning – such as RPL
  • Validating materials and our platform (Engage) in consultation with relevant stakeholders

Essential Requirements

TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

PSP50116 Diploma of Government with streams in

  • Human Resource Management
  • Project Management
  • Procurement and Contracting
  • Able to demonstrate VET currency and industry competency in your field (You must have practical experience)
  • A passion for education and the ability to deliver innovative, engaging and motivating sessions
  • Experience using Moodle based learning platform
  • Experience with reviewing training and assessment material, contextualising and quality control
  • Experience in conducting/participating in validation and moderation
  • A sound understanding of the principles of adult learning
  • The ability to show initiative and work independently

  • A strong awareness, understanding and commitment to Indigenous protocols and culture
  • Flexible approach to addressing learner needs
  • Professional approach and team player

  • Training will primarily be delivered from our campus in Bruce, however, opportunities may arise for delivery in client locations both in the ACT as well as across Australia.
