About The Position 

The Casual/Contractor Trainers will be working in the Professional Short Courses team and will be responsible for delivering non-accredited training in the workplace setting mostly in the government organisations in ACT.

Key responsibilities include, but limited to:

  • Provide student support services as identified/required according to individual learner needs.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver training in accordance with the delivery schedule/ Work Instruction (WI)
  • Maintain training records and report on attendance/participation in accordance with the policies and procedures of the RTO.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience (Selection Criteria) 

  • TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher would be beneficial
  • Minimum of three years of experience in Government Agencies and/or Federal experience will be highly desirable
  • Strong training and practical skills in the chosen area of expertise
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have continuous professional development records or industry currency
