About The Position
Our Centre for Modern Languages (CML) team is currently seeking Expressions of Interest for EAL/ TESOL Tutors to deliver English Language courses to our current and future clients and learners. The Tutors will support the learners to develop linguistic skills including literacy, numeracy and digital skills.
The candidate we seek will ideally have the following:
Essential:
- A recognised Post Graduate TESOL or Bachelor with TESOL major or ESL qualification/s
- TAE40116 Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE) or a diploma or higher level qualification in adult education
- Demonstrated ability to conduct assessments using EAL and ACSF frameworks, using appropriate tools, eliciting information from clients and interpreting results
- Ability to deliver training using a range of nationally accredited curricula or be able to customise learning resources for individual learners based on the Level of proficiency
- Demonstrated capacity to use Microsoft Office suite, Google apps and Teams
