Accredited Qualifications

When you invest in a CIT Solutions training program, your staff learn under a nationally recognised framework at Certificate IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma levels. Learners can specialise in government generalist, human resources, project management, policy development, finance and procurement, intelligence, risk and investigation, or training, assessment and organisational learning.

Case study: APS Indigenous Traineeship Programme (2013 – 2016)

In 2013 we partnered with the Australian Public Service Commission (APSC) to build a highly contextualised nationally recognised training component for the APS Indigenous Traineeship Programme. The programme was implemented in partnership with the APSC, using blended delivery modes across Australia, from 2013 through to 2016.

Our commitment to continuous improvement has seen the delivery model refined and redeveloped to include the latest learning innovations, lessons learned from previous delivery, and insights drawn from our in-depth understanding of the graduating cohorts.

We are proud to have worked with the trainee cohorts and their supervisors, and with the APSC as the coordinating agency, to achieve successful outcomes.

2013: A 100% completion rate was achieved for the 62 participants

2014: A 100% completion rate for the 49 participants that continued with their traineeship

2015: A 100% completion rate for the 46 participants who continued with their traineeship

2016: All 58 participants continuing with their traineeship are on track to complete at the end of 2016, including three participants who commenced after the first block of delivery and were supported with individualised coaching

Case study: UnitingCare Australia Project Management Fundamentals short course

UnitingCare Australia approached CIT Solutions with the objective of bringing their staff up to the same Project Management capability level. The main focus was to improve transparency and accountability. In close collaboration, CIT Solutions adapted the Project Management Fundamentals short course to suit every staff member’s specific training and learning needs, regardless of their area of work or their prior knowledge in Project Management.

Language Training

No matter where in the world your staff are travelling, we can provide the language skills they need. Our network of 150 dedicated tutors teach in over 50 languages. They’ll give your people the practical language skills they need for their new country, whether that’s learning the basics of conversation or advanced training in negotiation. We’ll create a tailored training package for your group or for an individual who needs one-on-one learning. And today’s technology means we can provide ongoing training and support, no matter where in the world your people are located.

In addition to learning a language, an understanding of culture is equally important. This is an integral component of our language programs; or where necessary can be provided as a separate program. Our cultural awareness training will deepen your staff’s understanding of a new context, and prepare them to engage confidently and professionally as ambassadors for your organisation.

We also offer Language Aptitude Testing to give you the assurance that your investment in a language learner is based on their ability to meet the outcomes you require. We also have the ability to provide Language Proficiency Testing for Commonwealth Government employees, against the Australian Foreign Service Proficiency Ratings Scale.

Case study: customised in-house language program for Government staff

A business-focussed Mandarin language program was provided to a Government department, where staff wanted to develop skills that would enhance their current and future work. The delivery model was developed in consultation with staff.   The department’s in-house newsletter described the program as “a great success.”
