CIT Solutions delivers training designed to enhance your organisation’s capability. Whether it’s a qualification in financial management or a short course in strategic thinking, we have programs to suit: from standard training that’s ready to go, right through to courses we create entirely for you.

We’re subject to the rigorous standards for Registered Training Organisations, so you can be assured we always work to the highest standards.

Accredited Training

We deliver accredited programs under our status as an Australian Registered Training Organisation (RTO). In these programs, your staff study one of 30 qualifications at Certificate IV, Diploma or Advanced Diploma level. Our accredited courses are delivered flexibly, combining online and face-to-face learning.

Case study: customised qualifications in management and financial services

In partnership with the Papua New Guinea Institute of Public Administration, CIT Solutions created custom, accredited programs for the PNG public service. The Diploma of Government (Management) and Diploma of Government (Financial Services) courses were delivered over nine months. Mirroring the Australian framework, the courses used real scenarios and processes from the PNG public service. We’re very proud of our completion rate: 94 of 95 students successfully graduated with their Diploma.

Professional Workshops

Do you need to rapidly build skills in a specific business area? Our suite of short professional workshops are available at each level of customisation. Most workshops are delivered in a single full, or half-day session. When you need training in a particular technology product or a mix of skills, we’ll build custom workshops for you.

Case study: building leadership capability through tailored workshops

We partnered with an Indonesian government client to deliver a two-day, tailored workshop on strategic management and leadership capabilities. The core skills that staff gained were: improved communication skills, understanding of accountability, and how to apply current management techniques. Staff feedback was glowing: they planned to immediately start using the skills they gained.

Language Training

No matter where in the world your staff are travelling, we can provide the language skills they need. Our network of 150 dedicated tutors teache in over 50 languages. They’ll give your people the practical language skills they need for their new country, whether that’s learning the basics of conversation or advanced training in negotiation. We’ll create a tailored training package for your group or for an individual who needs one-on-one learning. And today’s technology means we can provide ongoing training and support, no matter where in the world your people are located.

In addition to learning a language, an understanding of culture is equally important. This is an integral component of our language programs; or where necessary can be provided as a separate program. Our cultural awareness training will deepen your staff’s understanding of a new context, and prepare them to engage confidently and professionally as ambassadors for your organisation.

We also offer Language Aptitude Testing to give you the assurance that your investment in a language learner is based on their ability to meet the outcomes you require. We also have the ability to provide Language Proficiency Testing for Commonwealth Government employees, against the Australian Foreign Service Proficiency Ratings Scale.

Case study: customised in-house language program for Government staff

A business-focussed Mandarin language program was provided to a Government department, where staff wanted to develop skills that would enhance their current and future work. The delivery model was developed in consultation with staff.   The department’s in-house newsletter described the program as “a great success.”
