About Us

Our Capability

We are the commercial arm of the Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT). 

We offer organisations a wide range of learning and development services to enhance the capability of their staff. For individuals, we offer courses designed to upgrade their professional skills as well as giving them access to the largest selection of recreational and hobby courses in the ACT.

CIT Solutions was established in 1989. Since then it has grown to be a highly successful business employing 60 full-time staff and more than 250 specialist trainers. 

Our offices are located on CIT's Bruce Campus and feature a range of professional training rooms equipped with modern furnishings and equipment. Full catering services are offered for all courses conducted on-site.

Our staff and consultants work closely with clients to help clarify their needs, priorities and preferred learning styles.

Our skills in analysis, design and delivery provide clients with tailor made learning and development solutions that can be readily applied in their workplace. These skills ensure that ongoing programs can be adapted to ensure that all training is relevant, up-to-date and practical.

Our rigorous evaluation processes ensure CIT Solutions maintains a reputation for quality delivery and quality resources. In these ways, our learning and development solutions help individuals to perform in their job role and help organisations to achieve their strategic goals.

Accredited Training Options

Where clients require learning outcomes to be linked with qualifications, CIT Solutions is able to issue qualifications from the Australian Qualifications Framework under CIT's Registered Training Organisation status (RTO 0101). This means all our qualifications are nationally recognised and portable throughout Australia.

Public Sector Expertise

Our learning and development solutions draw on our nationally recognised learning design expertise and many years of experience in working with organisations in the public sector. 

CIT Solutions is an active member of significant Commonwealth and ACT Government training panels and has contracts with large agencies and organisations that involve repeat business over many years. These demonstrate the value that our clients place on our services.

International Experience

We also have an international vision. We currently provide a wide array of programs internationally for our clients as well as providing a pathway to a CIT qualification for over 1000 international students every year. We have the proven capability to deliver programs and consultancy services internationally.

CIT Solutions provides the largest number of language programs of any institution in Australia.  These programs equip Australians to professionally perform their government roles in a variety of international settings.

We value our role in the Canberra community. We offer the largest number and diversity of recreational programs in the ACT, ensuring that all Canberrans have access to lifelong learning and have opportunities to interact with their community.

While having the backing of the ACT's largest public training provider, CIT Solutions Pty Ltd is structured to provide dynamic flexible, innovative and responsive service to our clients.  We are able to draw together resources to complete large and complex projects, while still being able to provide clients with solutions to small projects as they arise.
